Business/Marketing Books

(click on the titles of the books to read Amazon.co.uk reviews)

My Life in Advertising/Scientific Advertising - Claude Hopkins

The Goal - Eliyahu Goldratt

Ogilvy on Advertising - David Ogilvy

Tested Advertising Methods - John Caples

The E-myth Revisited - Michael Gerber

The Richer Way - Julian Richer: a little book with great ideas about customer service and motivating staff.

Think and Grow Rich - Napoleon Hill

Confessions of a Website Copywriter - by Lenny Eng. If you're responsible for writing the words on your website, you've got to read this ebook. It breaks down the different parts of crafting a sales message for your site. One of the few marketing ebooks I would highly recommend.

Multiple Streams of Internet Income - Robert Allen. I don't like the way this book was marketed. The claim that the writer set out to make $24,000 in 24 hours, is not the whole story. He spent many months building up his website and his list before he started the clock ticking on that challenge. However, as much as I disagree with the way the book is marketed, it has some interesting ideas.
